1. What Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

1.1 Account Information

Username chosen by you at registration.
Email address used to create and verify your account.
Hashed password (we never store your password in plain text).
Account creation date, last login date, and account status.

1.2 Gameplay Data

In-game progress: planets, buildings, research levels, fleet composition, resources, scores.
Mission logs, combat reports, spy reports, and fleet-movement history.
Messages sent between players within the game messaging system.
Alliance membership and alliance activity.
Objectives and onboarding tour progress.
In-game settings and interface preferences.

1.3 Blockchain / Wallet Data

If you use KMS token features (deposits or withdrawals), we collect:

Your on-chain wallet address(es) used for deposits and withdrawals. Note: wallet addresses are personal data under GDPR when they can be linked to an identified individual (which they can in this context, because they are bound to your account).
Transaction hashes, amounts, and timestamps of KMS deposit and withdrawal events.
Internal ledger records of your in-game KMS balance history.

1.4 Technical & Usage Data

IP address at login and during active sessions (used for security and fraud prevention).
Browser type and device type (user-agent string).
Session metadata (login events, logout events, session duration).
Application error logs that may contain contextual gameplay data.

2. Cookies & Local Storage

Kosmaris uses browser local storage and session storage to maintain your authentication session token, your in-game preferences, and interface state (such as collapsed/expanded panels and sidebar ordering). These are technically necessary for the Game to function and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

3. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice (for example, by email or via an in-game announcement). Continued use of the Game after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
