Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing or using Kosmaris (the "Game") — including its website, client application, and any associated services — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Game immediately.

Age requirement. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Game. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. Kosmaris reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be held by minors without prior notice.

Jurisdiction restrictions. Access to the Game, and in particular to any blockchain or token-related features, may be restricted or prohibited in certain countries and territories. You are solely responsible for verifying that your use of the Game — including ownership or transfer of in-game tokens — is lawful in your jurisdiction. You must not access the Game from any jurisdiction where such access is prohibited.

2. Account Rules

• One account per person. Each individual may maintain only one active player account. Creating or using multiple accounts ("multi-accounting") is prohibited and may result in the suspension or permanent termination of all associated accounts.
• No sharing or selling accounts. Your account is personal and non-transferable. You must not allow any other person to access your account, and you must not sell, trade, or transfer your account credentials or account access to any third party.
• Accurate information. You must provide truthful, current, and complete information when registering and must keep your account information updated. Providing false information is grounds for immediate termination.
• Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must notify Kosmaris immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• Suspension & termination rights. Kosmaris reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account, at any time and without prior notice, if Kosmaris reasonably believes that these Terms have been violated or that such action is necessary to protect the integrity of the Game or the interests of other players.

3. Service Description

Kosmaris provides the Game on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kosmaris makes no guarantee of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the Game will meet your particular requirements.

Kosmaris reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to:

• change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Game;
• reset, wipe, or roll back in-game progress, worlds, resources, or rankings;
• run seasonal or event-based server resets as part of normal gameplay operations.

Kosmaris will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice of major changes where practicable, but is not obligated to do so.

4. Virtual Items

All in-game content — including but not limited to planets, fleets, ships, resources, buildings, research levels, droid factories, and any other virtual items or progress (collectively "Virtual Items") — is owned exclusively by Kosmaris.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use Virtual Items within the Game for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these Terms. This licence does not constitute or confer any property right, ownership interest, or claim to Virtual Items. You acknowledge that Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value unless Kosmaris expressly designates otherwise in writing.

Virtual Items may be modified, removed, or reset at any time as part of Kosmaris's operation of the Game (see Section 3). You have no right to compensation if Virtual Items are lost, modified, or removed.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Cheating & exploiting. Using any cheat, exploit, hack, or unauthorised modification to gain an unfair advantage in the Game.
• Automation & botting. Accessing the Game through any automated means, including bots, scripts, macros, or any tool that operates the Game without direct real-time human input, except as operated by Kosmaris itself as part of the Game's official infrastructure and simulation features. Kosmaris may run automated player agents as part of the Game's design; individual players may not do so without express written permission.
• Multi-accounting. Creating or using more than one player account simultaneously (see Section 2).
• Reverse engineering. Decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code or underlying logic of the Game or its servers.
• Harmful or illegal conduct. Using the Game to engage in harassment, hate speech, fraud, money laundering, or any other illegal or harmful activity.
• Disruption. Attempting to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Game servers or infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attacks.

Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, and may be referred to appropriate law-enforcement authorities.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in and relating to the Game — including but not limited to the Kosmaris name, logo, trademarks, trade dress, artwork, graphics, music, game mechanics, code, text, and any derivative works — is owned by or licensed to Kosmaris and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in or to Kosmaris's intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the Game set out in Section 4. You must not use Kosmaris's name, marks, or content for any commercial purpose without Kosmaris's prior written consent.

7. Termination & Suspension

Kosmaris may terminate or suspend your access to the Game at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include (but are not limited to): violation of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal conduct, or actions that jeopardise the integrity of the Game or the safety of other players.

Upon termination:

• All licences granted to you under these Terms cease immediately.
• All Virtual Items associated with your account are forfeited. You have no right to compensation for Virtual Items lost upon termination.
• Any pending KMS token balances or pending on-chain transactions remain subject to the blockchain's own irreversibility rules. Kosmaris will endeavour to process legitimate pending withdrawals in accordance with these Terms, but makes no guarantee where on-chain transactions are already initiated.

You may close your account at any time by using the in-game account-deletion feature. On closure, your in-game data will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers & Indemnification

Disclaimer of warranties. The Game is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kosmaris and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Game.

9. Changes to Terms

Kosmaris reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, Kosmaris will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (for example, via an in-game announcement or email). Your continued use of the Game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Game.
