Release 0.28.0 is a large stability and fairness pass — tightening up research, alliances, wars, and the market, cleaning up the galaxy map, and strengthening account safety end to end.
Gameplay & fairness
- Fair play — A batch of fairness fixes across research, alliances, wars, the market, and automation.
Galaxy map
- Your own planet isn't painted as an enemy — it no longer shows in the red reserved for hostile contacts.
- Live map data keeps refreshing — pirate markers, radar overlays, and enemy-base markers no longer freeze after you pan back into a region you've visited.
- Faster map rendering — tile loading is capped, and abandoned requests are dropped instead of competing with the ones you need.
Fixes
- Email changes require confirmation — a link goes to the new address, and your current one stays active until you open it.
- Intercept refusals explain themselves — a refused intercept now says precisely why.
- Fleet recall failures are reported instead of failing silently.
- The Automation screen loads correctly on a cold start.
- Base re-stationing no longer strands your fleet or splits your garrison.
Quality of Life
- Broad performance pass — noticeably faster galaxy, market, combat-report, and account screens.
- Security improvements — ongoing hardening across accounts, sessions, and the API.
- Blockchain improvements — ongoing work on the KMS token infrastructure.
