Release 0.31.1 covers everything since the last post: planet renaming, the run-up to the Launch Tournament, and a batch of interface fixes.
Your planets, your names
- Rename your planets. Every planet you own now has an editable name, visible to everyone on the galaxy map, in search, on fleet cards, and in reports. You can reset it back to the generated name at any time.
- Account settings are now tabbed, with a new Game tab. From there you can turn off other players' custom names if you prefer to see the generated ones.
The Launch Tournament
The rules, dates and prizes are posted. Since then:
- A live countdown to the tournament's opening now runs on the landing page, on this blog, and on in-game banners, including the galaxy screen where it was missing before.
Interface and fixes
- Tooltips now open on tap on phones and tablets. Previously they were unreachable on touch devices.
- Shared combat-report links work again. They had been dropping part of the address and landing nowhere.
- Fleets no longer get stuck retrying forever. A fleet that cannot complete an arrival now gives up and returns home instead of looping indefinitely.
KMS
Deposits into your in-game stash are down to a single flow, running on Robinhood Chain where KMS launched. Read more in the token launch post.
